Question 1

How do I know which poshak size to order?

Accepted Answer

Measure your murti from base to the top of the head in inches and match it to our 0–10 scale on the size guide. If you are between sizes, round up — every poshak has adjustable ties.

Question 2

How long does a made-to-order piece take?

Accepted Answer

Most poshak dispatch in 5–9 days. Bespoke commissions and heavy zari work take 12–18 days. Murtis in ashtadhatu may take up to three weeks.

Question 3

Can I have a poshak made from my own saree?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Post the fabric to our Varanasi atelier and our tailors will cut a poshak from it. This is our most requested bespoke service.

Question 4

Do you make matching outfits for the family?

Accepted Answer

We do. Our devotee wear collection includes dhoti-kurta and saree sets woven in the same silk and zari as several poshak, so you and Thakur Ji can match on festival days.

Question 5

How should I wash silk poshak?

Accepted Answer

Never machine wash. Dry clean only, or spot clean with a dry cloth. Store folded in muslin with a sachet of camphor, away from direct sunlight.

Question 6

Do you take temple or bulk orders?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for mandirs, satsang groups and gifting. Write to us with quantities and we will share tiered pricing.

Question 7

What is your exchange policy?

Accepted Answer

Unused pieces can be exchanged within 7 days of delivery for size issues. Bespoke and custom-fabric orders cannot be exchanged.
